**Job Description:**
Responsible for moderately complex tax planning and compliance responsibilities. Activities include preparing tax reports, responding to audits, and inquiries from governmental bodies in a manner that minimizes tax liabilities or researching tax issues and developing effective tax strategies for the company. Works on activities and projects with others within the business unit. May lead small projects and coordinate resources. In some cases, will act as team leader.
Responsible for moderately complex tax planning and compliance responsibilities. Responsibilities also include journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Other activities include preparing/reviewing tax reports, responding to audits, and inquiries from governmental bodies in a manner that minimizes tax liabilities or researching tax issues and developing effective tax strategies for the company. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must have excellent time management skills along with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the property tax field, preferably leasing business personal property. Relies on judgment and limited experience to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works on activities and projects with others within the business unit. May lead small projects and coordinate resources. In some cases, will act as team leader.
