Donaldson Company is looking for a Sr Project Manager to lead our most crucial innovation projects and programs.  This is an exciting opportunity to manage innovative research and development projects and new business incubation projects while collaborating with a broad group of internal and external resources. The project mix will be diverse as Corporate Technology projects are in support of a multitude of products and Industries.  This is a great opportunity to make meaningful contributions and grow your career with Donaldson.

While this role has hybrid work options, it will be based at our Bloomington, MN HQ office with 3 days needed onsite weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects concurrently providing leadership for cross functional global project teams

Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting, and coordination of projects from ideation through proof of concept and transfer to business

Manage and coordinate internal and external activities while ensuring good customer relations and representing the interest of Donaldson

Communicate project status and progress to Management, including the CEO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders

Build relationships with key stakeholders, team members, and vendors to enable successful outcomes

Promote safety & facilitate equipment deployment by applying industry standards in procurement requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field/experience

5+ years project management experience

Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful track record of interaction with senior level professionals to drive business outcomes, resolve issues, and build consensus

Experience managing Innovation projects

PMP, or other program management certification

Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to effectively manage the interaction of vendors and customers
