As our Sensory Science Sr. Technician and panel leader, you'll conduct sensory evaluations, prepare and analyze samples, and contribute to projects that shape the future of the fragrance and flavor industry.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Design and execute sensory evaluation studies focusing on taste, smell and orosensory perception, Prepare and present samples (e.g. taste solutions),Be the contact person for panelists, and ensure that they are motivated and adequately prepared to provide reliable data,Adhere to and help to improve existing protocols,Maintain detailed record and help prepare comprehensive reports,Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of project results,Keep a well-organized laboratory and inventory,Be the champion of sensory lab and sensory booth for the lab safety and the life saving rules,Collaborate with cross-functional teams,Assist with literature searches and analysis and interpretation of sensory data.

You bring

Bachelor’s degree major with 3-year experiences in sensory science, or master’s degree in chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy or related disciplines. Prior experience in a sensory lab including weighing and pipetting,Proficiency in sensory evaluation techniques and data analysis software (e.g., XLstat, Fizz, Compusense) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in parallel,Ability to identify problems, analyze possible causes, and suggest improvements in methods, techniques, and equipment. Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills,Fluent in Chinese and basic English language knowledge.
