Position Summary

• Perform staging services including setup and dismantle of all staging equipment, backstage facilities, carpeting etc. in the Arena for the hirer of the venue and other departments
• Provide logistic support of technical operation for the events in the Arena
• Perform repair and maintenance of the staging and production logistic equipment
• Support the technical needs and performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
 

Primary Responsibility

• Perform daily scheduled on operation/maintenance work skillfully and carefully
• Fabricate and install sets, props, carpets, chairs, staging equipment etc.
• Clean, repair and maintain the staging equipment, as well as the stage floor, chairs and carpet, report any needed items or repairs to supervisor
• Supervise the work of casual workers
• Record all necessary report including incident and accidents into the logbook
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
• Ready to work at irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays and overnight

Requirements Min 5 years of pertinent experience in the fields related to the position for Senior Technician High School graduate or above Knowledge of methods and techniques of maintaining, installing and repairing stage equipment Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment Communicate clearly and concisely both English and Chinese
