Sr Test Manager - Autonomous Systems

Job Description and Responsibilities: The Senior Test Manager for Autonomous Systems will ensure that our government customer achieves the desired 3rd party software infrastructure, capabilities, and accreditation process for the deployment of software at the speed of relevance. The Senior Test Manager performing on this contract will possess the required skills, experience and accreditations at the appropriate clearance level and be responsible for executing collaborative autonomy and interoperability architecture and software to maximize the capabilities of uncrewed systems (UxS) to enhance command and control, communications, computing, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C5ISR), and targeting. Duties include but not limited to: + Provide minimally supervised support for difficult analysis and evaluation assignments. + Evaluate new and existing software products and prepare test infrastructure as directed. + Review and prepare technical analysis reports and other documentation. + Serve as a supporting subject matter expert and apply knowledge/experience in the testing of hardware and software with proficiency in command and control, radio frequency analysis and relevant areas and practices to ensure mission accomplishment. + Provide senior level management consulting services and testing expertise of a in support of projects to oversee all aspects of UxSAI product testing. Will ensure high product quality and performance. + Coordinate integrated testing activities, to include, but not limited to, assisting the government with recommendations to ensure compliance with all testing standards, testing budget, daily operations, preparation for system level evaluations, and implementation of safety and security procedures. + Organize the collection and analysis of data by third-party government entities. Recommend development and design changes to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Provide expertise in the transition of legacy systems to modernized systems. + Collaboratively coordinate with stakeholders, including product, data and design teams to assist with technical issues and support their infrastructure needs. + Assist the Test Director and UxSAI Project Manager in all activities. + Provide testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex software applications. Confirm testing conclusions and recommendations are supported by test results, and reports testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements to project management. + Direct the day-to-day operations of the Autonomy and Interoperability test schedules and project team/s and prioritizes work to be executed in coordination with the Government. + Coordinate collaboratively with Stakeholders, DoD and Other Government Agencies, and Industry partners, to bring in best test performance measurements to evaluate software / hardware solutions. + Provide support with the integration of UxSAI products onto/into Stakeholder Platforms. + Support the investigation, analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, or evaluation of equipment, systems, processes, or procedures as it pertains to testing. + Conduct review and prepare technical analysis reports and other documentation as required. + Work collaboratively with other teams within a well-defined portfolio to deliver cross-product value. Education: + Bachelor’s degree in STEM or project management or similar is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. + Relevant experience and years of service may be considered in lieu of required education Required Experience: + TS/SCI Clearance + Ability to work as a member of a team with the skills and personality to lead discussions that results in positive desired outcomes + Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills + Demonstrated experience in a DoD organization supporting critical mission objectives for software integration + Excellent written and verbal communications skills + A minimum of seven years of experience in the development, planning, test and evaluation of systems including five years in systems engineering or developmental, test and evaluation. + A minimum of six years recent experience in an organization with assigned responsibilities for the acquisition, development, production and operation support of systems. + Minimum three years of experience with UAS / counter-UAS. + Demonstrated experience applying RDT&E science methods to real-world problems resulting in fieldable military solutions. + Minimum of five years direct experience with military uncrewed systems (Aviation / Aircraft experience desired). + Minimum of three years’ experience within Special Operations and familiarity with SOF AT&L processes. + Minimum of five years recent experience in an organization with assigned responsibilities for the acquisition, development, production, and operational support of systems (uncrewed systems is preferred).
