Sr Time Tracking Analyst

Job Summary

The Sr Time & Attendance Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining Wayne Sanderson Farms time tracking ecosystem. The role ensures accurate tracking of employee work hours, compliance with labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, company policies, and effective support for employees and management as it relates to time tracking.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and support the Workday time tracking and absence application workstreams ensuring proper configuration and functionality partnering with internal departments to implement application revisions, new implementations, integrations, troubleshooting, and resolution of issuesProvide technical support for the time clock programming system and physical time clocks configuration as neededReview new CBAs and configure rules governing timekeeping structure (e.g. pay, work, breaks, etc.); validate any system revision with HR and/or Accounting Managers against union contracts to ensure system compliance with labor laws and company policies related to work hours, overtime, and leaveReview and analyze business system requirements and recommend and work with HRIS to configure solutions that meet business need while remaining compliant to all company and legal requirementsPlan, schedule, and coordinate testing of system enhancements, upgrades, etc.; create test cases, scripts, and functional testing with Payroll, HR Operations or other key business process owner prior to implement or revise current configurationsAssist with Workday time tracking issues, including correction of hours and resolution of system errorsGenerate and analyze time tracking reports for payroll and managementCollaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between time tracking, absence and payroll systemsMaintain documentation of time tracking processes.Conduct regular audit and compliance checks related to time trackingPerform other related duties as directed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll processing, and compliance regulationsStrong documentation skills and discipline for both technical and functional documentation with the ability to distill technical information into easily understood presentations or trainingAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels of the organization as well as externally with vendors  Ability to mentor and train business team resources in the new technology and best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility effectively work either individually or in a team setting to complete assigned tasksProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail.Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgencyAbility to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.

Education

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or other relevant discipline.

Experience

The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience with timekeeping software and hardware such Workday, Kronos, UKG, Dormakaba, or similar systems. Experience with HRIS or other system implementation highly desirable
