Expected salary range of $118,800 to $132,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Functions as the fleet valve maintenance and repair expert. Responsible for evaluating in-body valve repair options and supporting planning and development of repair plans. Additional responsibilities include equipment performance monitoring and equipment reliability, as well as equipment component troubleshooting. The valve specialist role will also provide input and drive fleet best practices for valve repair strategies. This role will support all stations in the nuclear fleet and be required to travel. This role will also be required to maintain a First Line Supervisor (FLS) qualification. Responsible for being the technical expert for valve corrective and preventative maintenance. Additionally, Component ownership includes on-going equipment condition assessment and performing continuous reliability process improvements. Maintaining communication and working relationships with the respective system engineers to ensure appropriate operations and maintenance decisions are made.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Perform field walk down inspections and analyses for all valve maintenance. Provide consulting to Outage Valve department in troubleshooting & repair plans.
+ Provide technical input for station planners and schedulers in pre-outage windows.
+ Track fleet valve performance for pro-active trending and forecasting for potential fleet outage scope.
+ Provide budget and business plan input (short term and long term) for fleet valve repair plans.
+ Participate in performing Corrective Action Program (CAP) analyses, resolution development and implementation for valve related equipment issues.
+ An in-office presence will be required at minimum, 1-3 days per week for meetings and collaboration with remote work options available.
+ Travel will be required to Constellation Clean Energy Centers as needed.
+ All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience OR
+ Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of experience OR
+ HS diploma with a minimum of 9 years utility or related industry experience
+ Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ In body valve machining and welding experience
+ Specialty valve repair experience (i.e. Seat ring replacement, Gate valve wedge replacement)
