Position Description
The Senior Visual Designer plays a key role in supporting the marketing and communications efforts of Hensel Phelps by developing and designing content for company-wide marketing campaigns, social media activities, industry communications, oversees cross-functional project teamwork, events, and related activities.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design 6 years of experience and/or a combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Knowledge of digital, print, typography, video, corporate publications, design, and production, including detailed management of high volume of design files and vendors. Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and WEBDAM. Ability to guide creative lifecycle from ideation through completion. Creative critical thinking skills, critical thinking, and ability to give presentations and pitch ideas. Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills. Ability to perform independently and as a productive member in a team-focused environment. Moderate experience and understanding of video production and design.Essential Duties:
Develop, design, and produce graphic art. Create targeted materials for tradeshows. Expert in utilizing asset management tool for photo editing and digital asset management. Assist in development of video scripts for different projects as needed. Schedule and oversee interview schedules for individuals for video creation. Create videos with different complexities. Develop style sheets for projects. Provide a critical and creative review of all deliverables for style, brand, and errors. Assist with leading collaborative projects with different departments and regions Ability to complete projects on time. Train and coach members of the visual design team and members of regional offices.
