We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Weighmaster to join our team in Newport, New Jersey. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our materials handling and logistics operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate truck scales to accurately weigh inbound and outbound materials, issue and verify weight tickets, and ensure compliance with state and federal weight regulations.Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, plant personnel, customers, and vendors; answer phone calls and perform clerical work including processing invoices and scanning tickets.Maintain accurate records, assist with inventory tracking, and troubleshoot and maintain scale equipment and software.Train and support junior weighmasters and scale house staffPromote a safe and organized work environment.QualificationsAbility to obtain a valid Weighmaster license (New Jersey) if not already licensedExcellent communication and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and possess good interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications3–5 years of experience in a weighmaster, scale software, logistics, or materials handling roleExperience in the construction materials or aggregates industryFamiliarity with Citrix and JWS for ticketingSupervisory or training experience is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance incentives ($19 - $22 per hour)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer development and training opportunitiesA supportive and safety-focused work culture
