We’re looking for a Senior Workday Specialist to join our Talent Operations, Systems and Insights team. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of Workday's Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking modules. You’ll work as a subject matter expert, responsible for system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, process improvement and deploying new features to support Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking operations for our global workforce.
What you’ll be doing:
Contribute to day-to-day Workday strategy, operations and support across different modules. Subject matter expert for Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking Manage system security roles and permissions for the Absence, Payroll and Time Tracking modules Partner with various stakeholders in People and Culture team to gather business requirements and build technical solutions to deliver on their programs Collaborate with regional payroll representatives to provide technical expertise and support for payroll operations. Responsible for maintaining the Absence and Time Off configuration for all of our global locations and configure new Absence and Time Off plans for new and/or existing countries Contribute to a seamless and efficient employee experience by identifying and implementing process improvements in time tracking, absence management, and payroll, working closely with stakeholders to optimize Workday functionality.What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
4+ years of technical experience working with Workday, with a focus on Absence, Payroll and/or Time Tracking modules. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices and experience supporting payroll cycles (Canada and United States) Great understanding of absence policy management - for multiple countries Deep knowledge of configuring custom reports and handling large data sets Experience maintaining data integrity across enterprise HR systems and conducting audits Advanced knowledge of Excel and HR systemsEven better if you have, but not necessary:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
