Our goals are high reaching and to accomplish them, we are bringing aboard a superlative, highly experienced Senior XACTLY Business Systems Analyst. This position will be responsible for defining, designing, and delivering XACTLY centric solutions that enable and enhance Splunk’s Commissions management. Ensure high quality solutions are built that meet current and anticipated business needs. Responsibilities include partnering with business leadership and project management, providing guidance to technical teams, driving effective issue management and effective communication with key stakeholders. Experience and Knowledge on Callidus Commissions Management is a big plus. The candidate will be responsible to evaluate alternatives to satisfy business objectives, estimate and plan projects. The candidate will be involved in solving complex problems that arise during the planning and execution of different IT programs and projects as well as managing SAP support activities.In this role you will:Analyze complex business problems relating to systems and/or processes.Develop and assist business partners with developing requirements, identifying gaps and translating business requirements into technical solutions.Maintain and configure the Incentive Compensation and Commission Expense Accounting Systems (Xactly Incent and Xactly CEA).Support the day-to-day operation and use of Xactly, providing training, data management, ongoing support, solving problems and developing the system to support business strategies.Act as Solution Architect for Xactly application, leading solution design, and support Splunk’s Xactly instance.Develop technical solutions to requirements/issues; validate and communicate solutions to internal and external team members, test solutions and ensure it meets specifications.Collaborate closely with the Global Compensation Manager, IT and Business Operations across the world to design, improve and implement the use and adoption of the compensation system (UI design, reporting, systems interconnections), making use of formal tools and documentation (project plans, diagrams, charts, etc.) in alignment with the company goals.Provide ongoing production support to the business community regarding application functionality and data integrity.Develop and test Connect processes and monitor data flows to and from Xactly platform to ensure all data integrity/accuracy. Identify opportunities for further data automation and efficiency.Document Standard Operating Procedures as part of the regular support & maintenance activities.Run/facilitate the UAT sessions with the business partners.

Requirements

6+ years of experience with the Xactly Product Suite including but not limited to Xactly Incent, Xactly CEA and Xactly ConnectExperience with SQL and developing integrated solutions between systemsExperience on Xactly Integration with external applications such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Anaplan, ERP (S/4), HR (Workday).Deep understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and completing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cyclesDeep understanding of end to end Sales Compensation processes & systemsStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationshipsAbility to work optimally in a team environment as well as independentlyAbility to communicate information clearly and concisely and ensure others are informedAbility to balance multiple projects and prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high quality mannerMust be detailed oriented, as well as process and documentation orientedBachelors Degree in Computer Science or similarSplunk is an Equal Opportunity Employer: At Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing. Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
