• Work with manufacturing engineering and operations to create protocols for production teams to follow that result in high-quality products.
• Implement effective quality controls, teach production staff how to use them and supervise outcomes.
• Create and implement quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process.
• Collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.
• Apply good theoretical knowledge of electronics manufacturing engineering principles to identify issues which could or will impact product quality.
• Manage detailed problem solving process including but not limited to trend and root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive action using classic Six Sigma problem solving techniques
• Analyze/modify current product processes and implement improvements. Perform a variety of complex engineering tasks to improve the reliability and manufacturability of Vicor products.
• Key driver and contributor to factory process improvement using measured metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
• 5 + years related experience
• Good to strong knowledge of high volume electronics manufacturing processes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good technical analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
• Attention to detail
• Analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle an ever changing environment.

Salary Range: $94,800.00 - $118,500.00 - $154,050.00
