SUMMARY Acts as an Accessory Group lead analyst and in a high-profile role to internal departments, the Field, and vendors for Accessory Resources (Accessory Application Charts, Retail Accessory Pricing Tool, Retail Accessory Desking Tool, and Retail Accessory Management System [RAM]). Ensures accessory data accuracy and accessory applicability. Evaluates and synthesizes information from multiple sources to establish accurate reference documents. Demonstrates outstanding Excel skills, data modeling, and experience of extracting data from OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence) to produce various sales and financial reports. Must independently plan and create ad hoc reports as requested and analyze results to provide recommendations on areas of opportunity. Must be able to advise on critical matters such as compliance with contracts and federal laws by utilizing available reporting data. PRIMARY ESPONSIBILITIES + Sales Reporting and Sales Analytics: Supports Accessory Sales analytical tasks and projects. + Analyzes and reports trends to contribute to the ongoing effort to maximize sales. + Develops monthly Per New Vehicle Wholesale (PNVW), Quarterly Top 10 Accessory Retailer Sales Reports, and Quarterly District Parts/Service Manager (DPSM) bonus reports and analysis. + Extracts trend data from Oracle’s Business Intelligence System (OBI) to project sales of future accessories. Performs numerous ad hoc analytical projects with minimum supervision over a wide scope of topics and relevant areas, including compliance. + Retail Accessory Management System (RAM): Under direction of the Accessory Sales Operations Manager, works with business owners of the RAM system, which distributes accessory pricing and application data to all "downstream" business units and partners: Accessory Pricing Tool, Accessory Desking Tool, Digital Showroom (DCI), Subaru Parts Online (SimplePart), and the Accessory Application Charts. Takes direction from Accessory Sales Operations Manager and collaborates with internal stakeholders on system functionality to provide advice from a Fixed Operations standpoint. + Retail Accessory Pricing Tool and Desking Tool Systems: Assists the Accessory Sales Operations Manager as an Accessory Group contact for systems managing accessory retailer pricing and application data. Interacts directly with the Subaru Information Technology (IT) team, Subaru Field staff, and Subaru retailers. + Supports the Accessory Sales Group and acts as key point of contact to ensure functionality and accuracy of the tools. Collaborates with the Subaru IT team in an ongoing effort to improve system functionally, as well as Field and retailer utilization. + Sales Compliance: Monitors compliance of Subaru of America (SOA) Accessory Sales to various contractual and regulatory requirements. + Produces in-depth sales analysis to ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines regarding accessory sales penetration rates. + Calculates and reports annual and semi-annual royalty payments to Subaru Technical International (STI) and Subaru Corporation (SBR), ensuring compliance with these contractual agreements. + Accessory Application Charts: Aids the Accessory Sales Operations Manager in developing and error-proofing vehicle accessory application charts for all models for the Distribution department, ports, retailers, and the Field organization. Works with the Accessory Sales Operations Manager and acts as a point person for these tools through interaction with Engineering, Marketing, Inventory, Service, Subarunet, Distribution, as well as the Field organization; will conduct final review for accuracy of charts and will serve as a contact for questions/concerns regarding the charts. + Sales Presentations & Surveys: Develops Accessory Sales presentations and National Training Conference (NTC) Accessory Field Surveys. The recommendations from the surveys and presentations are presented to the Accessory team, Subaru Field staff, and internal and external stakeholders. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES + Subarunet and Field Announcements: Develops a variety of written communications including new accessory announcements. + Works with the Accessory Marketing Specialist on Spotlight Publications, the quarterly Fixed Ops Newsletter, and error checks all Marketing brochures for accuracy. + Collects and compiles all data for the National Business Conference (NBC) Retailer Health Reports for the Accessory Marketing team. Assists in coordinating and accessorizing the NBC ride-and-drive vehicles and NBC accessory expo vehicles. REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS + Expert in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) and OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence). + Proficiency in Qlik + Data modeling experience + Independent project management and organizational skills. + Strong written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation/PowerPoint, and analytical skills. + Limited mechanical and automotive knowledge. WORK ENVIORNMENT + Travel: 5% EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 4-6 years' experience COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $70000 - $99900 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
