Your New Role:
The Senior Sales Coordinator position at Warner Bros. Discovery is a role that leads you towards the path to a successful career within multiplatform media sales. Senior Sales Coordinators provide sales support to National & Direct Response Account Executives, Sales Planners, clients and agencies regarding linear media on all US Networks at WBD.
Your Role Accountabilities:
• Responsible for maintaining Direct Response, National, Syndication, Time Buys, Paid Programming and specific Agencies business across all US Linear Networks
• Establish strong business relationships and act as a liaison with advertising agency counterparts and internal Discovery departments including Pricing, Planning & Operations, Linear Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Billing
• Escalate client requests in a timely manner (flighting, revisions, allocations, added value, etc.).
• Verify & quality check all executed client orders across all linear platforms, ensuring that they are approved in weekly programming and compliant with all client requirements.
• Review program and commercial changes and issue change notices to clients
• Partner with Account Executive, Sales Planners and the Marketing department on promotional assets, material deadlines, and ensure proper approvals are obtained & timely.
• Work closely with Linear Commercial Operations to schedule promotional assets.
• Work directly with Inventory Management to best fill weekly inventory and maximize revenue
• Verify reporting metrics sent to internal teams are accurate & up to date
• Verify & quality check the sales Coordinator reconciled billing discrepancies with agencies and billing department.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by Sales Support Management, Account Executives and/or Vice President(s) Ad Sales for your assigned networks and agencies.
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Ad Sales Account Coordinator experience 9+ months
• Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups.
• High level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Learns and applies new information, concepts, and techniques in area of practice.
• Strong English language skills
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service skills
• Detail oriented and team player
• Must be able to work collaboratively with team members.
• Must be able and willing to provide overtime work when necessary
