Sr. Accountant, Financial Reporting & Systems - D365 F&O

My client is a global engineering and technical consulting firm in Houston currently implementing Dynamics 365 F&O. They are seeking a Sr. Accountant of Financial Reporting & Systems who is a hybrid between a D365 Finance Analyst and Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting D365 F&O as well as a strong Accounting & Finance background in FP&A.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of GAAP accounting
- 2-5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O experience on the Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, etc.)
- Experience or ability to learn financial reporting in DAX or Power BI (or Vena)
- Data migration and testing experience in D365 is
- Testing experience in D365 F&O

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities on the D365 F&O implementation:
- Documenting the systems testing (test cases)
- Improve and automate financial processes
- Assist on the AP automation
- Assist in the Data Migration

Accounting responsibilities:
- Technical accounting
- Plan and set up the Chart of Accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial/expense reports
- Responsible for the FP&A
