Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the organization's overall financial health. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in accounting principles and financial systems. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Perform account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations, to maintain financial accuracy. • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. • Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making. • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of financial records in accordance with regulatory guidelines. • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries. • Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • 3 + years of experience in accounting or a related role. • Proficiency in account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes. • Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • Public accounting experience strongly preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
