Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in managing financial records and processes. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accuracy and efficiency while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial records. • Manage month-end close processes, including analysis and reconciliation tasks. • Maintain and update the general ledger to support accurate financial reporting. • Compile and analyze trial balance data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance. • Prepare comprehensive financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations. • Collaborate on the implementation of organizational financial systems to improve workflows. • Utilize accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline processes. • Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards in all financial practices. • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Extensive experience with account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheets. • Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and journal entries. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial statement preparation. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP. • Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines. • Proven analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
