Description We are searching for a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in the construction industry, located in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be directly reporting to the Owner and VP of the company and will be tasked with various responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial reporting, auditing, cash flow management, and reconciliation. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough and accurate financial audits, focusing on submitted invoices • Compile comprehensive financial statements for review • Manage and oversee cash flow processes to ensure efficient operation • Perform reconciliation duties, ensuring all accounts are balanced correctly • Proficiently use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks • Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Execute account reconciliation, including balance sheet reconciliation • Conduct bank reconciliations, verifying and correcting data • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
