Contact Stacey for me details- 859-788-3661 As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing complex transactions, and providing support during annual financial statement preparations. This role is a permanent position and requires a high level of proficiency in Corporate Accounting, Microsoft Excel, and Month End Close. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis. • Provide support during month-end close by ensuring all transactions and entries are recorded accurately. • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and work closely with external auditors. • Support budget planning and forecasting activities for the department. • Handle lease accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. • Research and provide insights on unusual transactions, contributing to the financial transparency of the company. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and report generation. • Collaborate with the corporate accounting team for the resolution of complex accounting issues. • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential • Demonstrated experience with Month End Close procedures is required • Knowledge and experience in Corporate Accounting is necessary • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is necessary • Familiarity with accounting software and systems is preferred • CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
