Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Lee area. This role is critical in supporting our accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with IFRS. The successful candidate will be involved in various accounting transactional activities and will play a crucial role in the financial stability of our team. Responsibilities: • Direct activities during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing to meet internal and corporate deadlines • Analyze financial information and prepare journal entries for various general ledger accounts • Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies • Oversee the management of fixed assets and monthly depreciation • Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules to ensure complete and timely recognition of sales • Provide support for annual audit and tax requests • Assist with billing and accounts payable processes when required • Carry out ad hoc financial analysis as per business needs • Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and implement procedures for increased efficiency. Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks • Capable of performing bank reconciliations with accuracy • Demonstrable experience in managing general ledger and journal entries • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting • Experience in executing month end close activities in a timely manner • Knowledge and experience in using SAP for financial operations • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
