Description We are in the manufacturing industry, searching for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, analyzing financial results, and supporting software implementations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and finalize journal entries with high accuracy • Conduct full cycle month end close activities • Analyze and interpret financial results for management • Develop and maintain cash flow projections • Support software implementation projects as required • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards • Leverage Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks • Monitor and manage month-end close processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a must. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required. • Experience in handling Month End Close processes is necessary. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in the Manufacturing industry. • Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Proficient in preparing financial statements and tax returns. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure. • CPA certification is a plus. • Experience with financial software and systems integration is advantageous. • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required. • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
