About This Job
The Senior Accountant II is responsible for preparing journal entries and maintaining the Company’s general ledger and third-party transactions, assisting in the designing controls for the Company’s SOX program. Responsible for ad-hoc accounting, internal controls, and regulatory/compliance, and technical research and analyzing accruals and performing reconciliations. Responsible for leading projects, reviewing other work, and training peers and other staff members. Experienced in complex accounting and regulatory standards; including researching and providing alternative solutions.Responsibilities:
Maintain records of organization’s financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley ActCreate reports on financial performance for internal and external useComplete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activitiesEnsures accuracy, validity, and completeness of all documentation necessary to meet organizational, industry, and government regulatory requirementsParticipate in and lead cross functional meetingsPrepare and present reports to managementResearch technical accounting issues and propose potential alternativesAdvanced knowledge of operational systemsAbility to create materials to be leverages for audit support, including presentation to be leveraged for auditors and executive managementRequirements:
