Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to be an integral part of our team. This role will be located in Austin, Texas, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Accountant, you will oversee daily financial transactions, develop and maintain financial statements, and participate in corporate policy development. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily financial transactions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP • Conduct thorough, ongoing analyses of major property investments and review complex financial reports • Advise on procedure and financial management, as well as the development and management of financial systems and policies • Participate in policy development as a member of the senior management team • Oversee the finance department operations, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives • Engage in continuous critical analysis of report production and automation, and demonstrate willingness to adopt new approaches. Requirements • Extensive experience in Account Reconciliation is required • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is mandatory • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is necessary • Solid understanding of General Ledger is expected • Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately is essential • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a key requirement • Experience in Month End Close activities is needed Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
