Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our client's team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing month-end journal entries, conducting thorough account reconciliations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Meticulously prepare journal entries for the month-end • Thoroughly review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness • Reverse engineer reconciliations as part of the analysis process • Identify and document opportunities for process improvement • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Workday ERP for various accounting tasks • Ensure the balance sheet reconciliation is accurate • Monitor and manage general ledger activities. Requirements • Possess advanced knowledge of Account Reconciliation processes and techniques. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, with an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining General Ledger. • Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries accurately. • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on financial modeling and data analysis. • Experience with Workday ERP, with a focus on its financial management module.
