Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with providing critical financial services, including account reconciliation and balance sheet rectification. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date • Execute efficient and accurate account reconciliations • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage, analyze, and present data effectively • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of the month-end close process • Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes • Create and manage journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner • Assist in the transition to a new job management system, ensuring all financial data is accurately migrated • Reinforce good billing and collections practice, ensuring all accounts receivable subledgers are accurate and up-to-date • Oversee job costing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
