Sr. Accountant
Description We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Sr. Accountant to become a part of our team. In this role, you will be expected to oversee the financial transactions of the company, assist in cash forecasting, and ensure compliance with company policies regarding financial documentation. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, United States. Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily financial transactions, tracking and monitoring the flow of money in and out of the company's bank accounts. • Prepare regular reports that provide an insight into the company's financial status. • Ensure adherence to company policies for the documentation and accounting of receipts and other financial data. • Perform reconciliation of all cash and Accounts Receivable (AR) accounts. • Liaise with financial institutions for opening and closing of accounts. • Cooperate with CityVet clinics to support staff in collectibles. • Undertake other cash-related tasks as assigned. • Contribute to resolving CityVet MUTTS tickets assigned to the Accounting Team. • Educate employees, oversee expense reports, audit, and process all submitted company expense reports through Certify. • Assist with routine accounting processes, such as creating journal entries and conducting monthly general ledger account reconciliations. • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits as directed. • Maintain and enhance the company's bookkeeping process. • Assist the Controller and CFO in creating and revising financial presentations for internal and external use. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential • Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required • Must be adept at Bank Reconciliations • Extensive knowledge of General Ledger operations is a must • Should be able to prepare and verify Journal Entries • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed • Experience with Month End Close activities is necessary • Familiarity with NetSuite is required • Proficiency in Oracle is beneficial • Knowledge of SAP is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
