Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in North Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of both accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, as well as the supervision of respective personnel. As a vital part of our team, you will be expected to maintain and reconcile all general ledger accounts on a regular monthly basis, and assist in the monthly close process. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. • Prepare monthly closing journal entries, such as prepaid expenses, goodwill amortization, and payroll expense. • Regularly maintain and reconcile all general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Assist in the monthly close process, working to ensure all books are closed accurately and on schedule. • Maintain fixed asset registers to keep track of company assets. • Prepare required schedules and reconciliations for the annual audit. • Assist with the annual budget process, partnering with various department leads to establish clear, measurable targets. • Support bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. • Contribute to all accounting department process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Support all internal, external, and governmental audit and regulatory reporting requirements as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation is required • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must • Demonstrable skills in Bank Reconciliations is necessary • Proficiency in General Ledger management is essential • Experience in making Journal Entries is needed • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is vital • Experience in Month End Close processes is required • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus • Familiarity with Oracle software is desirable • Experience with SAP systems is highly beneficial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
