Description We are in the search for a Sr. Accountant to join our team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a critical role in the finance and accounting department, providing financial analysis, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in the creation of financial reports. You will also be expected to contribute to financial process improvement initiatives and support various financial projects. Responsibilities: • Handle the reconciliation of various general ledger accounts. • Assist in the preparation of period-ending financial statements with accuracy and timeliness. • Perform analysis and review of balance sheet reconciliation and consolidated financial statements monthly. • Record general ledger entries weekly. • Manage the recording of expense line items and keep supporting schedules that correlate to journals recorded. • Contribute to the identification and implementation of financial process improvements. • Provide analysis and support for various financial projects. • Take on the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Participate in the analysis of income statement and balance sheet. • Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of fixed assets. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required for the Sr. Accountant role • Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential • Profound knowledge in General Ledger is expected • Ability to handle Journal Entries is a key requirement • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary • Experience in Month End Close activities is required • Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting is needed • Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is a critical requirement RESTURANT EXPERIENCE A PLUS!
