Robert Half is partnering with a leading organization to fill a Senior Accountant (Hybrid) position. This opportunity is suited for driven, detail-oriented individuals who excel in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance within a team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. + Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. + Conduct variance analysis for budget-to-actuals and identify trends to provide actionable insights. + Reconcile complex general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency. + Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. + Partner with internal stakeholders to support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries. + Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting systems. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred. + 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to both public and private accounting practices. + Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and Excel. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and auditing processes. + Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while adhering to deadlines. + Exceptional analytical skills coupled with attention to detail and accuracy. + Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. + Experience with ERP systems or related technology is a plus.
