Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the non-profit sector, situated in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the financial administration of grant-funded programs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial tracking, and promptly reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee the financial administration of grant-funded programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Stay updated on changes in grant compliance standards, including federal and state regulations. • Coordinate with program managers for accurate documentation and reporting of grant activities. • Prepare for audits related to grant funding, maintaining thorough records of agreements and supporting documents. • Manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to maintain compliance with funding requirements. • Reconcile grant expenses, complete journal entries, and oversee the proper allocation of funds. • Leverage your proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reconciliations. • Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting. • Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
