Description We are inviting applications for the position of Sr. Accountant, located in Oxnard, California. This role primarily revolves around the agriculture and manufacturing industry, where you will be required to exercise your expertise in inventory control, cost analysis, and general ledger management. Responsibilities include: • Overseeing accounting operations related to inventory, ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting. • Conducting cost analysis to identify variances and implementing necessary corrective measures. • Preparing and scrutinizing monthly financial reports and forecast updates. • Ensuring adherence to established accounting policies and regulatory norms. • Managing journal entries and general ledger. • Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit. • Using advanced Excel for various tasks and maintaining accurate customer credit records. • Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. • Leveraging your skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Famous, Cost Analysis, Inventory Analysis, and Excel Formulas.
