Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team based in PROSPECT, Kentucky. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the dynamic field of accounting. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing account reconciliations, and assisting with payroll services. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the reconciliation of account balances and bank statements • Assisting in maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting • Assisting in the monthly closing processes • Working with accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting operations • Assisting with payroll processes and transactions • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary • Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are required • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential • Familiarity with General Ledger management is expected • Ability to accurately perform Journal Entries is crucial • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus • Familiarity with Oracle financial software is desirable • Experience with SAP accounting software is beneficial • Payroll processing skills are required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
