Description We are seeking a diligent Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you will be accountable for various accounting activities across several practice locations. Your work will encompass account reconciliations, participating in the month-end close process, conducting budget vs actual analysis, and overseeing internal controls of the Practices. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate recording of transactions into the general ledger. • Conduct account reconciliations, summarizing activity, resolving any discrepancies, and preparing forecast estimates. • Understand the impacts of account activity on Balance Sheet, P& L, and cash flow statement, including classifications of financial statement line items. • Analyze operational performance and communicate findings effectively. • Drive improvements in major systems, processes, practices, or policies based on thorough analysis. • Handle accounting and control procedures related to complex intercompany balances and consolidation processes. • Actively participate in decision-making processes. • Strive to exceed set goals, requirements, and previous accomplishments. • Contribute to month-end close process to ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting policies. • Perform other duties as assigned.
