Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Sugar Land, Texas. The role is within the industry, and the workplace is fast-paced and dynamic. As a Sr. Accountant, you will handle a variety of responsibilities, from processing credit card transactions to supporting sales operations. Responsibilities: • Accurately and promptly process credit card transactions • Handle AR/AP operations with efficiency • Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations • Conduct bank reconciliations as part of the regular duties • Prepare and maintain prepaids and accruals • Input bills into the system in a timely manner • Deposit funds into the treasury as required • Support sales operations • Use SyteLine and Microsoft Excel to perform various accounting tasks • Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Candidate must be adept at Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is crucial • Mastery of General Ledger management is necessary • Candidate should be skilled in making Journal Entries • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Experience in Month End Close procedures is required • Familiarity with SyteLine software is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
