Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to assist our manufacturing team located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of balance sheet reconciliations, Ledger transactions analysis, and financial reporting. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Microsoft Dynamics or Great Plains software experience required. Responsibilities: • Analyzing and reconciling account balances • Carrying out bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for complex financial analysis • Assisting in responding to external audit requests with accurate data • Maintaining and updating the general ledger • Regularly processing journal entries to reflect all business transactions • Ensuring timely completion of month-end close procedures • Utilizing Dynamics GP for effective financial management • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations to verify account balances • Effectively handling account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
