Primary Functions:
Participate in month-end close activities and ensure compliance with monthly close calendar in an accurate and timely manner
Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts in a thoughtful, easy to understand manner
Manage ASC842 Lease Accounting monthly procedures across multiple systems
Process bi-weekly payroll and accompanying accruals
Perform monthly flux analysis on North America and Canadian reporting units, presenting findings to the Chief Accounting Officer, Sr. Director of Global Accounting, and Sr. Director M&A Accounting
Ensure integrity of the financials at both subsidiary and consolidated levels
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements - balance sheets, P&L
Assist with accounting of mergers and acquisitions as required
Back up to other team members, as needed, and provide cross-training to other team members on assigned areas
Proactively identify issues causing inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes, including cross accounting system integration and automation
Assist in annual audit and prepare audit schedules as necessary
Complete special projects as required
Secondary Functions:
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and treads
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications -
Education and Years of Experience:
BA or BS degree in Accounting
4+ years of related experience, preferably in a fast growing, dynamic, multinational environment
Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:
CPA License preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High level analytical abilities and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Extensive knowledge of Excel including use of v-look ups and pivot tables is required
Proficiency with NetSuite is strongly preferred
Proficiency with UKG (formerly Ultipro) is preferred
Proficiency with APEX (Leaseharbor) is preferred
Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and on own initiative required
Careful attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage deadlines is required
Flexibility to navigate a fluid and fast-paced environment is required
Physical Requirements (lifting, etc):
Periodic lifting up to 10 pounds
Sitting for long periods of time
Use of hands of computer work
Periodic standing, walking, reaching, and bending
This is a remote position open to candidates located in the US only.
Compensation: $90k/base + incentive compensation
