Description Job Title: Accounting Analyst Job Overview: Our prestigious client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to play a pivotal role in launching a state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct month-end close activities, including inventory accruals, journal entries, account reconciliation, billing, and financial analysis. + Provide detailed reporting and analysis of financial data to support decision-making. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and drive process improvements. + Coordinate and oversee the year-end physical inventory count. + Analyze general ledger data for accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. + Maintain cost allocation methodologies for direct and indirect expenditures. + Support external audits by preparing work papers, documentation, and calculations. + Perform analytics to inform strategic business decisions. + Contribute to other accounting and financial projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. + Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). + Exceptional analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial data. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in a manufacturing environment with SAP, particularly in a plant setting. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Analyst role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a necessary skill for this role. • The candidate should be adept at Balance Sheet Reconciliation. • Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations is expected. • Familiarity with General Ledger management is essential. • The candidate must be capable of making Journal Entries. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience with the Month End Close process is necessary. • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus. • The candidate should be familiar with Oracle. • Proficiency in SAP is a prerequisite for this role. • Knowledge of SAP HANA is desirable. • The candidate should have experience with Accruals. • Familiarity with Monthly Accruals is a plus. • Experience with Annual Inventory processes is beneficial. • Asset Inventory management skills are required. • Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment is desirable.
