Sr. Administrative Assistant
Description We are in search of a Sr. Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Administrative Assistant, you will be playing a key role in the academic services office, providing support to the Senior Associate Dean. You will be the primary point of contact for students, parents, and external affiliates, ensuring seamless communication and organization of academic and operational activities. Your role will also involve leading the coordination of various events like student orientations, open houses, and commencement exercises. Responsibilities: • Function as the primary point of contact for current and prospective students, parents, and external affiliates, ensuring effective communication • Manage complex scheduling for large-scale student interviews and high-profile academic events, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and smooth execution • Coordinate student interviews, new admission processes, enrollment data, and lead campus information sessions • Take ownership of planning and executing events, including student tours, orientation, convocation, and university-wide open houses • Handle student advising schedules, update educational records, and distribute materials • Draft official dean communications, design informational materials, and collaborate on video recording projects for promotional purposes • Supervise Federal Work Study students, from hiring to task delegation and scheduling • Participate in high-level strategic planning discussions and implement key operational policies, impacting academic services and compliance. • Handle confidential and sensitive issues from students regarding academic, personal, or mental health challenges with professionalism and discretion • Maintain schedules, organize travel arrangements, manage expense reports, and support with student appointment scheduling systems. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Administrative Assistant • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services • Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads • Proficiency in using Cisco Webex Meetings for scheduling and conducting meetings • Knowledge of Concur for managing expenses • Proficiency in using CRM to manage customer relationships • Familiarity with About Time software for project management • Experience in managing Budget Processes • Excellent skills in Calendar Management • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience in managing and conducting Conference Calls TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
