Sr. Administrative Assistant - Temporary

The School of Nursing and Health Studies Dean's Office has a great opportunity for a Temporary Sr Administrative Assistant to work at the Coral Gables Campus with the research team. 
 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Submitting business expense reimbursements in Workday.

Work as a liaison with central offices in order to finalize electronic submissions.

Prepares financial forms in Workday, Pos, work orders, check requisitions, supplier invoices, journals and payroll accounting adjustments. 

Prepare travel arrangements and reimbursements for the faculty at SONHS.

Provides clerical support to the Research Team.

Completes assignments requiring the collection, and organization of data (may provide analysis).

Composes correspondence or selects standardized formats.

May maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and book conference rooms.

Assists with ongoing/new projects for the SONHS research administration team.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Workday experience preferred.

Knowledge of routine office practices and procedures. 

Knowledge of simple data processing and transmission principles.

Ability to utilize computerized information systems. 

Ability to read and decipher data on source documents to be entered. 

Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy and a reasonable rate of speed. 

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. 

Skill in data entry or typing

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):

High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
