**_If you are an internal associate, please login to Workday and apply through Jobs Hub._** **Job Purpose** **The Sr. Advanced Planning Strategist is responsible for consulting with and presenting to wholesalers, financial professionals, attorneys, and CPAs to support Jackson sales. Conducts research and develops marketing materials, presentations, and case illustrations.** **Essential Responsibilities** + Communicates complex retirement and wealth strategies to financial, legal and tax professionals and wholesalers. + Regularly interfaces with financial professionals through phone and virtual meeting software. + Effectively leverages PowerPoint and marketing materials to deliver sales presentations. + Interfaces with sales to help prospect and close business. + Works with team to develop, review, and revise presentations, marketing materials, and white papers. + Conducts research to support consulting activities and the development of marketing materials. + Provides training to Sales Desk employees, external wholesalers and other staff. **Other Duties** + Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Strong verbal and written communications skills. + Strong presentation skills. + Solid relationship building and consultative sales skills. + Solid sales skills. + Outstanding research and analytical skills. + Ability to identify issues in complex fact patterns, and develop/articulate solutions to issues. + Limited travel may be required. **Qualifications** **Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.** **Advanced designation (such as CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD) required.
