Sr. Advisor, Business Continuity Management
Our client is seeking a Sr. Advisor, Business Continuity Management to join their team. As a Sr. Advisor, you will be part of the Emergency Management & Business Continuity (EMBC) program supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Sr. Advisor, Business Continuity Management** **Location: Calgary, AB** **Job Description:** + Support the continuous development and improvement of the Business Continuity Program. + Implement the Business Continuity Program at the corporate and field level, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all enabling functions and entities. + Maintain, update, and improve Business Continuity Plans, including Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Business Resumption Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans. + Lead the design, scheduling, and facilitation of business continuity training sessions, drills, and exercises. + Work closely with corporate emergency management colleagues to enhance the delivery of the BC program and ensure alignment with corporate standards and practices. **Qualifications:** + Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent relevant experience. + 3-5 years of experience in developing, managing, and contributing to Business Continuity Plans and exercises, particularly in the oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline, HAZMAT transport, or rail industries. + 3-5 years of experience as an active member of an Incident Management Team. + Incident Command System Certification (ICS-300). + Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the oil and gas industry, particularly AER and ISO 22301. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. + Engagement in meaningful projects that enhance business continuity strategies. + Collaboration with cross-functional teams and industry professionals. + Professional development and training opportunities. + Chance to positively impact organizational culture and emergency management practices.
