This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing detailed reporting to highlight the delivery success and capacity of our MarTech development team. You will drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and support a culture of accountability across teams.

Responsibilities:
Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee MarTech release activities, ensuring that all teams and stakeholders are aligned and releases are delivered on time with minimal disruptionAgile Process Management: Oversee the implementation and adherence to agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) across multiple teams. Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviewsTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor agile teams, providing guidance and support to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvementWorkload Management: Monitor and manage team workload, balancing priorities and ensuring effective allocation of resources. Address any capacity issues and optimize team performanceMarketing Campaign Planning: Capable of creating structure and planning templates, trackers, and Gantt charts to build execution roadmaps/ calendarsStakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between agile teams and stakeholders. Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies, and manage stakeholder expectations effectivelyPerformance Tracking & Metrics: Implement and monitor metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and project progress. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvementsSLA Compliance: Ensure that MarTech releases and platform operations adhere to established SLAs, including uptime, response times, data processing, and change management, to maintain platform reliability and performanceDelivery Reporting: Develop and produce regular reports and dashboards on MarTech development team capacity, delivery success, and adherence to SLAs. Provide "prove it" reports that demonstrate the team’s ability to consistently meet performance metrics and maintain SLA standardsProcess Improvement: Identify and address process inefficiencies and impediments. Promote best practices and advocate for changes that enhance team productivity and agilityTraining and Development: Provide training and support to teams on agile practices and tools. Encourage professional growth and skill development within the teamQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Leader (CAL), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred5+ years of experience in release management, agile project management, or MarTech operations, preferably within a digital marketing or technology-driven environment3+ years of experience managing releases for MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Branch.io, or similar marketing technologiesExperience with agile project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar, and workflow tools such as Workfront or Microsoft ProjectKnowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and frameworks, with a strong understanding of SLA management, uptime, and service qualityProficiency in project management frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, and Lean, with the ability to adapt methodologies as neededStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues that impact team performance and project successExcellent communication and leadership skills, with proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative work environmentPrior experience in a regulated industry, such as banking or finance, is a plusFamiliarity with MarTech platforms and an understanding of digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, and personalized customer journeysFamiliarity with mobile app development process and lifecycleIf you are a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with a passion for marketing technology and agile methodologies, we invite you to apply and join our forward-thinking team at Axos.
