Proficiency in .NET Core programming is a plus.
Experience with Azure IoT Edge platform is preferable.
Experience with Azure Databricks is preferable.
Familiarity with .NET Core (a plus).

As an AI Developer, you will be pivotal in delivering data-driven solutions, bridging advanced analytics with operational excellence, and guiding Watts Water Technologies through a transformative digital journey. Partnering with departments such as Engineering, Finance, and IT, you will develop innovative ML/AI tools within the Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) team, enhancing data management, automation, and analytics. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, enabling smarter products, services, and customer experiences.

You Will:

Identify and propose opportunities for leveraging ML/AI to drive business value.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, IoT/Digital Solutions, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service, to design and implement ML/AI solutions.

Scope, manage, and execute data science projects aligned with strategic business goals.

Partner with Engineering to optimize sensor data flows and develop analytical software for IoT devices.

Coordinate with Product Management on IoT-driven product features and enhancements.

Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards by working with internal security teams.

Develop ML/AI solutions for financial forecasting, customer behavior analysis, product recommendations, A/B testing, and campaign optimization.

Discover and integrate new data sources to enhance analytics capabilities and drive big data and advanced analytics initiatives.

Conduct statistical analysis and apply ML/AI methodologies for predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for domain-specific applications.

Establish and promote ML/AI best practices, including MLOps, infrastructure optimization, and ethical AI principles.

Mentor and support data scientists, including outsourced resources, and train staff on data science principles and techniques.

Present ML/AI solutions and insights to senior management through clear reports and presentations.

You Have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience delivering AI/ML projects across multiple business functions.

Expertise in Python or R, with working knowledge in Scala, Spark, and C++ (preferred).

Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL.

Demonstrated experience with ML/Deep Learning techniques (e.g., Regression, Classification, Clustering, Neural Networks, SVM).

Knowledge of ML libraries (PyTorch, Keras, Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV) and experience deploying LLMs and RAG.

Exposure to streaming analytics, big data processing tools, and DevOps/MLOps frameworks (MLFlow, Kubeflow).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including optimization of AI solutions for scalability, latency, and cost.

High proficiency in communicating complex data concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

Manufacturing domain and IoT product knowledge preferred.
