Sr. Analyst, Accounts Receivable (AR)

Ingredion is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Accounts Receivable to join the Accounts Receivable team in our Tulsa Location supporting primarily the Americas (United States & Canada).  The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for helping execute the Accounts Receivable and Collections strategy in the US/Canada region to ensure delivery of high-quality service to our Customers, aligned to Ingredion’s Customer Experience commitments (responsive, empathetic, proactive, and innovative).

This role is essential in supporting the Account Receivable team with a focus on Accounts Receivable activities, technology advancements and automation opportunities, and timely payment of invoices to enhance the Customer Experience while mitigating collections risks.  The Sr. Analyst will also manage projects, support team development activities, and serve as a point of escalation to troubleshoot and quickly resolve Customer issues.

This role will be making decisions while supporting the Commercial and Customer Service teams and identifying and implementing processes to increase effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency of the department.  This position requires a strong customer service focus, the ability to promptly resolve business issues, and strong aptitude to evaluate data effectively.  This position is critical to maintaining and expanding relationships with Ingredion’s Customers and Business Partners.

Core Responsibilities:

Support Tulsa SSC Account Receivable Team: Drive and support the end-to-end delivery of Accounts Receivable and Collections operational services supporting the US and Canada region to ensure efficient operations and timely collection and application of Customer payments on outstanding invoices.

Support Account Receivable team in day-to-day operationsManage all aspects of assigned activities and deadlinesSupport internal customer inquiries escalated as needed with a sense of urgencySupport and help Develop Team, especially in the areas of technology capabilities and skillsProvide training to new employees and system users on Policies, SoPs, and ControlsMaintain high level of Customer ServiceStrong ability to set clear goals and support a high performing team

Enable Accounts Receivable and Collections Strategy: Collaborate with the Manager, Accounts Receivable and Collections to enhance Accounts Receivable and Collections strategies aligned with the business needs, Customer experience, and the work and workforce at Ingredion.

Collaborate with Key Business Partners and report on monthly performanceIdentify issues and process improvements for management reviewContinually identify and implement enhancements to further improve and streamline processes, including proper testing and communication to LeadershipSuggest adjustments to improve data quality and processing efficiency, including enhancements to the import and export of data between various applications

Monitor SLAs and Reporting: Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements, produce and review reports on disputes and payment deductions, and identify and track any system or process performance issues. Escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution.

Ensure that all risk mitigating controls are completed and addressed weeklyConduct all daily, weekly, and monthly activities to drive compliance to policiesSupport audits and work with Team on remediations as requiredEnforce and maintain SOX compliance for policies and proceduresAssist with month-end and year-end close activities as needed

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery of targeted results.

Team Development: Support the Manager with development of employees in the Tulsa SSC Account Receivable Team. Help assess training needs and facilitate coaching and additional assignments to deepen other team member’s understanding of Financial Operations processes.

Qualified candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in business-related field is required.

Strong knowledge of the policies, procedures, and controls of Customer Contract Pricing, Billing, and Accounts Receivable including a minimum of two years of Customer to Cash value chain, Accounts Receivable, and Dispute Resolution experience.

Solid understanding of business and financial concepts.

Strong systems knowledge and passion for advancing technology integration to automate processes with proven technology expertise within the Customer to Cash value chain.

Proven ability to independently analyze complex problems, research complex issues, draw appropriate conclusions, and develop and implement innovative solutions.

Strong computer skills including SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and experience with new technologies to drive automation.

Pay Range:

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
