A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development will support the Director, Corporate Development & Integrations, with key strategy projects and market assessments. The Sr. Analyst’s role will have a large emphasis on financial modelling and supporting the creation of high impact presentations. The individual in this role will support Tandem’s long range market modelling and assessment and will be responsible for identifying and implementing modelling best practices.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
Supports the Director, Corporate Development in recurring and ad-hoc strategy and market analysis workstreams. Contributes to the maintenance of Tandem’s global market models, competitor models, dashboards, and identifies process improvements. Engages with cross-functional peers (e.g., finance and product teams) to obtain accurate and timely data inputs for modelling exercises. Conducts the required primary and secondary research to develop an informed view on the key market catalysts driving the market models. Assists with the production of high impact presentations to internal stakeholders, including quarterly board reporting materials. Implements modelling best practices and acts as a primary reviewer of internal models. Supports consulting engagements with external vendors, triages and escalates project issues as appropriate. Provides assistance during the corporate development process, including supporting due diligence, integration activities, and reporting. Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.EXTRA AWESOME:
BA/BS in a scientific, engineering, financial, business, or other relevant field. 2+ years of experience in equity research, strategic finance, investment banking, or corporate development. Experience in Medical Devices and/or Diabetes space, highly preferred. Must be capable of operating at a technical level at the rapidly evolving intersection of medical devices, healthcare, mobile computing, and data management. Exceptional proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI. Exceptional financial modelling skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High ethical standards; excellent judgment; professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:
This role will be a mix of in-office work at our corporate headquarters in Del Mar, CA and remote work. This position is expected to be in office 2-3 days per week, however may vary depending on business demands.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $85,000 - $99,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision available your first day, as well as health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (with accrual starting on day 1) and you will have access to a 401k plan with company match as well as an Employee Stock Purchase plan.
