About the Job:

The Senior Analyst role is a foundational part of Yum!’s Risk Management and Measurement strategy, responsible for implementing and managing data systems that deliver vital food safety insights. Critical accountabilities for this role include managing and continuously improving existing data systems to ensure accurate and appropriate reporting is available for leadership and the Business Units around food safety metrics, both from our supplier and restaurant surveillance programs.

Salary Range: 

$87,100 – $102,500 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors

Key Responsibilities: 

Leverage data science background and develop partnerships with vendors to be highly proficient user of global Food Safety systems (TrueView, DOMO) and provide the following support to the community: Onboard new team members Ongoing training Development of education materials Troubleshooting Ongoing vendor management Establish FSQA executive dashboard(s) that becomes the single source of truth for all FSQA data. Develop regular global food safety reports using data across food safety systems to support both internal updates (global calls, compliance committee) and public facing reports (Recipe for Good, Dow Jones) Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through implementation and execution of systems that test and validate data accuracy across Food Safety data on an ongoing basis  Drive process of selecting and implementing new systems for FSQA when needed Support adjustments to how data is captured and changes to our food safety systems that align with any changes to our global governance strategy Manage and maintain global Yum!Now portal ensuring the site remains updated, organized according to our FS Management System and intuitive for the community Provide insights and feedback to support our Food Safety data journey, moving from descriptive to predictive analytics

Minimum Requirements: 

Educational background: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Data Science Comfortable and confident leveraging tools such as Excel and Power BI  Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of organization Self-starter with ability to work independently and proactively Minimum of three years working in Food Service or Food Production, ideally with exposure to managing data & systems Flexible in ensuring availability to customers through daily calendar management Availability to travel to Plano office at least once per quarter (if not locally based)
