To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** As a Consultant, Liquidity Reporting and Analysis you will support the Director in producing high quality data analysis, monitoring and reporting to provide key insights on liquidity management for Treasury’s Funding & Liquidity Management function. The Consultant utilized the technical skills in Power BI (DAX and other programming languages like M) and SQL to support the development of best-in-class data modelling and analytical solutions to ensure accurate and timely reporting as well as providing key insight on liquidity positions. Acting as a resource integrator for their area, the role supports the execution of liquidity-related activities, and develops knowledge required to support the overall team objectives. The role uses independent judgement to participate in the development, testing and implementation of liquidity related initiatives. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Reporting -** Develop and maintain highly sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable data insights. Manage Power BI services (Scheduling, workspace management) for reporting and report analytics. Support Treasury month end regulatory and management reporting. + **Analytics -** Utilize DAX and other programming languages for effective data manipulation, transformation and creating complex measures; Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes; Leverage Power Query for seamless data connectivity, transformation, and preparation; Integrate PowerBI with OLAP services, particularly SSAS, for efficient data analytics. + **Team Work and Collaboration –** As an expert in data analytics, collaborate closely with stakeholders to discern intricate business requirements and seamlessly translate them into intuitive and visually compelling user experiences + **Be Proactive –** Proactively identify gaps and enhancements to Treasury reporting. Conduct periodic reviews of the reporting processes and recommend ways to enhance existing processes. + **Problem solving skills -** Lead investigations on issues and provide recommendations to resolve issues. This includes analyzing, assessing and documenting impacts; and developing recommendations, approaches and solutions. + **Detail oriented -** Participate in establishing and implementing processes to verify the accuracy of Treasury reporting. Maintain accountability for accuracy. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate hands on experience (i.e. 2-3 years) and advanced capabilities in** **Power BI** (Dax, Powerquery [M], data modelling) and working with OLAP data sources like SSAS for report development. + **You can demonstrate proficiency and advanced capabilities in SQL and Power Query.** + **You love to learn.** You're passionate about growing your knowledge and developing your skills, and you know that there is no limit to what you can achieve.
