Want to make an impact?The core objective of this position is to support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by analyzing material forecasts, ensuring alignment of supply with demand, and optimizing inventory levels. This role is heavily cross-functional, requiring communication and collaboration with Ferrara’s Planning functions and Procurement teams to minimize risks and improve the supply chain. Another significant part of the role involves leading and contributing to projects that generate substantial value in the supply chain, aiming for continuous improvement in processes and cost-effectiveness. Finally, this role will provide analytical support to the Material Planning Team to enhance operational activities.
Ways you will make a difference Support the IBP process for components by capturing monthly volumes and analyzing large changes or anomalies versus previous cycle data. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement partners to ensure component coverage and address significant volume changes. Compile sequencing information from procurement and communicate required actions to the material planners to match sequenced volumes. Conduct thorough analysis of inventory levels and forecasts, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing overstock situations. Utilize advanced analytical tools to predict future inventory needs based on sales trends, market conditions, and historical data. Create and present data visuals for monthly IBP Material Review relating to component inventory and forecasts. Support the Supply Chain Escalation (SCE) process through attending weekly meetings as well as identifying, escalating, and mitigating ingredient coverage risks. Play a lead role in supply chain improvement projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains in the supply chain. Support reporting and analysis relating to the Annual Operating Plan Process. Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and reporting. Implement best practices in material planning and logistics to enhance overall supply chain performance. Assist with S/4 HANA Business Transformation project changes related to Material Planning and analytics. Consult on component network moves and master data updates to minimize supply disruptions. Perform special projects and ad hoc requests as needed. Skills that will make you successful Comfortable in working with large data sets and complex Excel formulas. CompensationThe salary range for this position is $80,325 to $112,455 annually.
