The Performance Programs Senior Analyst’s primary responsibility is to meet business requirements by performing analysis of key performance and incentive pay data in support of Operations, Payroll, Finance, Compensation, HR, and Performance Programs teams. This position is responsible for execution of incentive pay models for multiple lines of business and/or regions within Customer Solutions, as well as innovation of pay data architecture and integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for timely and accurate incentive pay processing for given region(s) and/or LOB(s)Identify defects and optimize processes through data analysis, regression models, and other methodsDevelop and maintain reporting based on business requirements, understanding of business processes, and knowledge of system logging to implement fully automated solutionsPerform data collection via SQL and other query languages to integrate data from multiple sourcesAnalyze data trends across multiple channels and lines of business to measure pay and performancePresent results and implications to operational teams and senior management on a regular basis in a clear, concise, and compelling mannerPartner with Analytics & other teams to develop alert / alarm systems to identify data issues or other problems that could jeopardize accuracy of incentive payIdentify opportunities and recommend creative solutions to business problems through analytics and understanding of the business processes and systemsHere’s what you’ll bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Analytics or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience Three or more years of experience in a Data Analytics-focused roleAbility to work independently with high-level guidanceAbility to collaborate with team members and other key partnersHigh energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-growth environmentSuperior quantitative and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for problem solvingStrong interpersonal skills including confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organization, ability to manage intake, and present insightsTechnical Skills:
Expert-level skill in manipulating data and building data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and ExcelIntermediate or better skill level with SQL and/or other query languagesIntermediate or better skill level with statistical analysis tools such as JMP and/or MinitabKnowledge of and/or experience with other coding languages such as Python is a plusCertification in Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology is a plusAbout Asurion
