The team you will be a part of

The Material Management team is responsible for inventory audits and maintaining inventory at optimum levels. Develops procedures to enhance the effectiveness of inventory control programs. Coordinates with relevant departments to schedule, audit, and reconcile periodic physical inventories. Oversees incoming shipments of merchandise to ensure that inventory is accurate, updated and provided according to schedules.

Whirlpool’s Ottawa Operation is seeking a high energy, highly motivated Materials & Logistics Sr Analyst 

Your responsibilities will include Learn and deploy world class manufacturing methodology. Develop/ implement material flow processes/ layouts to ensure all products meet safety, quality, cost standards.Define and scope needs for material delivery equipment.Support system issues and work with business process owners on resolution, including testing.Lead rack, carts, packaging design changesLead warehouse layout reorganizationTeam member in product / process launching projectsWork closely with workplace organization to develop the golden zone delivery conceptLead Value Stream Mapping (VSM’s)Project management supporting material planners in new product launchContact with suppliers in product pilot phaseEnsure SAP master data10% time to travel availability
 Minimum requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering field2+ year(s) of leadership experience within Manufacturing Operations
 Preferred skills and experiences Working knowledge of Logistics and Customer Service methodologySkilled coach and mentorStrong communication and presentation skillsSAP - MRP modelSAP - Production planning / Master data.
